To a fresh start

Salaam!

Life is a journey, from Allah to Allah. One year past, whether Hijri or Gregorian, only means that we are one year closer to returning to Him, our Creator. Those passing years saw that we celebrated the new years not in productive/islamic ways. Now that 2013 is going to end in a blink, we're suggesting changes! Lets make this coming year a milestone, a beginning of something new, a fresh start to a better us!

Up there, Benjamin said some really interesting things, things that are taught to us by Prophet Muhammad (saw): to surpress our nafs, kind with others and being a better person each day. Things to ponder and reflect upon... these remaining days, try to look back, throughout this passing year, what' we've been doing? Have we been a better person, son, friend or student than the past year? And most importantly, have we been a better Muslim? There are still plenty of time to 'construct' some new year resolutions hee.. :)
